BUILDING PROGRAM LEVEL 1 -2 : Start Age 8 & 9

Our Level 1 & 2 Graded Technique students build foundations in movement, vocabulary, technique and choreography. Additionally, students in Level 1 & 2 are eligible and encouraged to try styles such as Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Acrobatics. All students in our Graded Technique Program participate in annual skills testing and optional parent-teacher conferences.

Children's Class Descriptions

Tippy Toe Ballet

Tippy Toes is an introduction to classical ballet for 2 & 3 year olds using creative, imaginative role-playing and movement.

Tippy Toe Tumble

Tippy Toe Tumble is a fun introduction to tumbling & acrobatics for our tiniest dancers. Learn to balance and develop coordination.

Tippy Toe Tap

Tap is a class where 2 & 3 year olds learn the fundamentals of tap dance combining rhythm and the sounds of tap shoes as a form of percussion. Fine motor skills and an appreciation for musicality!

Tippy Toe Jazz

Tippy Toe Jazz is a high energy introduction to jazz. Where our 2 & 3 year olds learn the fundamentals of jazz using creative and imaginative movement.

Hip HopLets

Hip Hop Kids is a high energy hip hop class for ages 6 -8. This hip hop class will introduce new and basic hip hop movements and is a fun way to learn a new style of dancing.

Classes begin Friday Sept 10th!

Ballet Kids

This multi-age class for 4 & 5 year olds is designed for those who want to learn basic ballet technique through costumes, props, and games.

Acro Kids

Be an acrobat and make some friends! A Preschool Acrobatics class for ages 4 & 5

BalletLets

introduces 6 -8 year olds the foundation dance form that provides grace, poise, and technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance. Ballet classes will help dancers with posture, balance, self-discipline, and self- confidence.

JazzLets

A introduction to Jazz dance includes beginner technique and progressions including turns, kicks, and leaps to prepare our young dancers for Jazz Level 1 and 2.

TapLets

Introduces the steps and sequences of Tap including rhythm, tempo, musicality. Fine motor skills and appreciation for music.

AcroLets

Acro is great for dancers age 6 thru 8 years old who are looking to learn the basic progressions of acrobatics and prepare these young dancers for Acrobatics level 1 and 2.

Dance Cirque

Learn new tricks flying high on the silks and lyra, learn to juggle and hoop tricks, in this new style offered only Set The Barre.

Tap Kids

Tap Kids is a fun and energetic class where 4 & 5 year olds start learning the basics of rhythm and tap.

Jazz Kids

Jass Kids is a fun and energetic class where 4 & 5 year olds learn the basics of movement through props, games and fun.

Hip Hop Kids

Hip Hop Kids is a high energy hip hop class for ages 4 -5. This hip hop class will introduce new and basic hip hop movements and is a fun way to learn a new style of dancing.

Hippity Hop

Hippity Hop is an introductory hip hop class for ages 2 -3 years old. This preschool hip hop class will introduce new and basic hip hop movements and is a fun way to learn a new style of dancing.

Little Monkeys Circus

Learn new tricks flying high on the silks and lyra in this high energy preschool circus class for ages 3-5.

Ballet

Ballet is a foundational dance form that provides grace, poise, and technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance. Ballet classes will help dancers with posture, flexibility, fitness, balance, self-discipline, and self-confidence. Beginning in Level 3&4 dancers may be able to begin training with pointe work.

Jazz

Jazz dance includes strength, flexibility, and conditioning technique and progressions including turns, kicks, and leaps.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop dance was started in the 1970s in the Bronx, New York, and was made of many different styles like breaking, popping, locking, and more. Hip Hop dance is a movement and culture that represents the freedom to learn, grow, and evolve. It continues to grow and change today with dance crews, movement, and choreography.

Acro

Acro is great for dancers who are looking to improve their overall coordination, strength, agility, and flexibility. Students learn and master cartwheels, aerials, tumbling, chest stands, handsprings, and more..

Lyrical

Lyrical combines ballet and jazz dancing techniques. It is performed to music with lyrics so that it inspires the expression of emotions the choreographer feels from the lyrics of the song.

Pre-Pointe

Pre-Pointe is a pointe preparation class for serious ballet students interested in dancing en pointe. Pre-Pointe is a 30-minute class that meets weekly, usually before or after the student's ballet class. The class is taken in soft. A portion of the class is spent doing foot/ankle exercises and stretches on the floor.

Tap

Tap dancers use the metal taps on the toes and heels of their shoes to produce an endless variety of sounds and rhythms that differ in dynamics and even pitch. Dancers will learn about musicality and tempo.

Dance Cirque

Dance Cirque is a performing class that moves at you dancers own pace. Each dancer will get the opportunity to practice their techniques every week with the opportunity to advance at their own speed. Techniques learned juggling, acrobatics, hoops, Ariel silks and the Lyra! Class Duration is 50 mins.
